Gallery Kissei An

Gallery Kissei An stocks an excellent collection of woodblock prints and is well worth a visit if you are in Kyoto.

Address: #101 Tobei Bldg. 224 Eirakucho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto, 604-8071.

Directions: Walk up Teramachi Dori up to the crab, then turn left. The shop is hidden from Teramachi Street.

The Gado Gallery is the gallery of the late Ido Masao, and offers an extensive collection of his works.

Directions: Facing the main entrance to Kinkaku-ji, turn left and follow the road down the hill around to the right. The gallery is about 3 minutes walk down the hill, located on the right.
